Rev. Richard Stevens, known to our campers as "Uncle Dick," was the founder of Life for Youth Camp. He was a great man of faith and loved this camp and its campers. Uncle Dick went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2006 after fighting an infection.

He is survived by his wife Betty Stevens; brother, Ron Stevens; son, Robby and wife Sherri Stevens; son, Ricky Stevens; grandchildren, Stephanie McCoy, Bobby Stevens, and Chrissy Stevens; and great grandson, Jacob McCoy.

We will greatly miss this wonderful man of God.
